Privacy Policy

Maverick Data collects, processes, and transfers personal data that we did not collect directly from the individuals concerned. We are a “data broker” as that term is defined under applicable state laws, including the Texas Data Broker Act. What we collect:

• Account information. Name, email address, and organization details, processed by our authentication provider (Clerk).
• Billing information. Processed by Stripe. We never store card numbers.
• Support communications. Emails you send to our support address.
• Usage analytics (this public site only). Google Analytics collects device and browsing interaction data unless you opt out. Opting out takes one click and stops analytics immediately, and we automatically honor the Global Privacy Control (GPC) browser signal as an opt-out without requiring any banner interaction.

We use this information to operate and secure the service, bill subscriptions, provide support, and understand how our public site is used. We do not use customer account data for advertising and we do not sell customer account data. Our processors are Clerk (authentication), Stripe (payments), Hetzner Online GmbH (hosting), and Google (analytics).

Our database contains records about U.S. consumers and properties compiled from public records (including county deed and property records) and licensed commercial data vendors. Categories include: identifiers (name, mailing address); contact points (phone numbers, email addresses); demographics (age, date of birth, gender); property records (ownership, deed dates, estimated home value, property type); telephone-marketing status (Do Not Call indicators as supplied by vendors); and derived estimates (insurance renewal-timing estimates, which are statistical estimates).

We do not hold Social Security numbers, driver’s license numbers, financial account numbers, health information, biometric data, or precise geolocation, and we do not knowingly hold records of individuals under 18.

We sell this information to licensed insurance professionals in the United States for their own marketing and customer outreach. We contractually prohibit purchasers from reselling the data or using it for eligibility decisions covered by the Fair Credit Reporting Act (credit, insurance underwriting, employment, housing).

Records are retained while they remain part of our licensed and public-record source data and are updated or superseded as sources refresh. Deletion and opt-out requests are honored as described below, including a suppression list so that deleted individuals stay deleted when sources refresh.

Depending on your state of residence (including California, Texas, and Colorado), you may have the right to:

• Know and access. Confirm whether we hold personal information about you and receive a copy of it.
• Delete. Request deletion of your personal information.
• Correct. Request correction of inaccurate information.
• Opt out of sale or sharing. Direct us not to sell your personal information.
• Non-discrimination. We will never deny service, charge different prices, or provide different quality because you exercised a right.

To exercise any right, email support@themaverickdata.com with your name, state, and mailing address (so we can locate your record), or see Do Not Sell or Share My Personal Information. We verify requests using the information provided, respond within the time required by your state’s law (45 days in most states, extendable once), and honor requests from authorized agents with proof of authorization. On this website we honor Global Privacy Control signals as a valid opt-out for that browser.

Because we did not collect database records from you directly, we may not be able to verify a request against an account. We verify against the record itself (name and address match) and err toward deletion when in doubt. Deleted records are added to a suppression list so they do not reappear in future data refreshes or exports.

We maintain an information security program including encryption in transit, role-based access, tenant isolation, audit logging, and vendor access controls.

Our services are not directed to anyone under 18 and we do not knowingly hold or sell records of minors. If you believe we hold a minor’s record, contact support@themaverickdata.com and we will delete it.

We will post updates here and revise the “Last updated” date. Material changes affecting your rights will be announced on this page at least 14 days in advance.
