Here's what Cole X-Dates actually cost. In its final years, the list price for a single-agent Pro subscription was $995 a year, but real invoices ran closer to $1,200 a year once setup fees and add-ons landed. We know because our parent company was a paying Cole customer, and we still have the receipts. Agents under carrier-negotiated agreements paid less: Farmers agents, for example, could get a full year for roughly $750 to $1,000.

You can't buy it anymore at any price. As of July 16, 2026, coleinformation.com serves a court-ordered domain seizure notice, and xdates.xpressdocs.com, where the product moved after Xpressdocs acquired Cole's assets, doesn't resolve. Since the pricing page every searcher is looking for is gone, this article reconstructs the full record: what Cole charged over the years, what agents really paid, and what the same budget buys in 2026.

What did Cole X-Dates actually cost?

Two numbers matter, and they aren't the same.

The list price in Cole's final years was $995 per year for the single-user Pro tier. That figure sat on Cole's own pricing pages from at least August 2020 through January 2023, per Wayback Machine captures.

The invoice reality was higher. Based on our own receipts from years as a Cole customer, a typical agent paid about $1,200 a year all-in. The gap came from the usual places: a $99.95 setup fee on some tiers, phone append add-ons, and upsells like the Power tier at $1,590 a year.

Then there were the carrier deals. Cole negotiated discounted rates with carrier organizations, so captive agents often paid below list. Farmers agents, for instance, could get a full year for around $750 to $1,000. If you compared notes with another agent and your prices didn't match, that's why.

Cole's pricing pages are gone, but the Wayback Machine kept copies. Here's the documented history, oldest first, with each row linked to its source.

Two things stand out. First, the old forum-era numbers ($450 to $650 a year) that still float around agent communities were a decade out of date by the end; anyone quoting them today is describing a product that stopped existing long before the domain did. Second, the sticker price roughly doubled over Cole's last decade while the entry tier got squeezed: by 2023 the $995 Pro plan capped you at 5,000 contacts a month in one state, where 2021's Pro had unlimited monthly leads.

That's also why the receipts number beats the sticker number. List price said $995. Real money said about $1,200.

Why can't you buy Cole X-Dates anymore?

We'll stick to what's publicly observable and skip the speculation.

Xpressdocs, a Fort Worth direct-marketing company, acquired Cole Information's assets in a deal dated October 11, 2024 (PitchBook; Cole's own M&A advisor lists the transaction). The product was rebranded Xpressdocs Data Solutions and moved to a subdomain, xdates.xpressdocs.com.

Wayback Machine captures show coleinformation.com operating normally as late as September 7, 2025, then serving a "Domain Seizure Notice" by October 6, 2025, stating the domain "has been seized pursuant to a Court order." When we checked on July 16, 2026, that notice was still up, and xdates.xpressdocs.com failed DNS entirely. We don't know the details of the court order and won't guess at them. Practically, the product is unreachable, and Bresser's, a direct competitor, states plainly that Cole X-Dates Online has been discontinued.

What replaced Cole, and what does it cost?

How does Cole's final pricing compare to 2026 options?

Cole's last public deal was $995 a year for 5,000 contacts a month in one state, about $1,200 a year as actually invoiced. In 2026, that same budget buys more than it used to.

At Bresser's or Haines, roughly $995 to $1,395 a year gets a platform tier with 2,500 to 3,500 exports a month plus property data Cole never had, like flood zones and mortgage records. At Maverick Data, $1,000 a year covers one state with 50,000 exported contacts a month, ten times Cole's final monthly cap at the same price point, with phone, email, and DNC status disclosed on every record and an API for agencies that run on scripts.

The cleaner comparison is cost per contact, so here it is, computed from the cited prices above at full allowance. Cole's final Pro deal worked out to about 1.7 cents per contact if you maxed the 5,000-a-month cap ($995 across 60,000 contacts a year). Bresser's Core annual runs about 3 cents ($895 across 30,000 exports a year), their emailed phone-and-email tier about 9 cents ($179 a month for 2,000 records), and Maverick Data 0.2 cents monthly ($100 for 50,000 credits) or 0.17 cents annual ($1,000 across 600,000 credits). Almost nobody exports their full allowance, so run the math on the volume you'll realistically work. A cheap plan you underuse costs more per worked lead than an expensive one you fill.

The verdict: where should a Cole budget go now?

Maverick Data, and the reasons are checkable, not vibes. Best price: a Cole-sized $1,000 budget buys 600,000 credits a year with us, at 0.17 to 0.2 cents per contact against Cole's 1.7 cents and Bresser's 3 to 9 cents. Honest data: DNC status disclosed on every record instead of quietly dropped contacts, and we say in writing that our X-date is a purchase-anniversary proxy (nobody's is carrier-confirmed, Cole's included; we're the only ones who admit it). Transparent pricing: the number is on the page, no quote calls, plus self-serve signup and an API.

Two honest concessions, scoped. If you had a carrier-discounted Cole deal at $750, you were getting a genuinely good price for a mature multi-line product; nothing at that exact shape exists today. And if you work states we haven't shipped yet (Kansas, Missouri, and Texas are live now), Bresser's or Haines will serve you better until your state lands.
